Splatter University (1984) 3/10

Splatter University is yet another teen high school/college slasher flick and stands at the bottom of a very large pile.

Splatter University is about kids being picked off one by one at a small Catholic college. The audience then gets to play guess who the killer is and the identity is neither surprising nor interesting. The gore is pretty minimal and what gore there is, sucks. Very poorly executed super cheese, we're talking stabbing a pillow dressed in the character's clothes cheesy. The dialogue is bad, but not so-bad-its-hilarious, just rather bland and useless. The acting is terrible as one might imagine and the performances bring no life to the film. Beyond that the film stock looks like the leftover pieces of film that troma threw away. Yeah its pretty bad.

Splatter University lacks the one thing the title promises, Splatter! Poor performances and a been there done that script bring nothing new or interesting to the table. This one was made solely for profit, and I doubt it even achieved that.
