Ebola Syndrome (1996) 7/10

Ahh yes the infamous Ebola Syndrome. A man in Hong Kong kills three people vicsiously, flees to South Africa and becomes a carrier for the ebola virus, infecting all those he comes into contact with.

The film includes rape, castration, gore, cannibalism, you know, the staples. What would you expect from the director of The Untold Story? Lots of blood guts and gross outs though not quite as shocking as I had expected. The film moves at a quick pace and its shot well.

To be honest i like the Ebola Syndrome much better then the Untold Story. This film has better characters and a lack of annoying cops as in the Untold Story. The script is much more clearly written making it much easier to watch. Overall a good flick if you're looking for some Catagory III hong kong sleaze.
